Ella took her first trip this past week to NJ for her grandpa's jersey retirement.  She couldn't have been any better during the flights and the chaos of the vacation!  She got to meet her great grandpa, Uncle Nolan, Uncle Travis and Aunt Kristine.  She was talking up a storm to everyone and just full of smiles.  She also started sleeping a full 8 hours each night so Josh and I are hoping that continues now! 

As for the night of the jersey retirement I think she tried to steal the spotlight!  She finally woke up as we walked onto the ice and was just transfixed on all the lights!  Grandpa held her when they showed him on the big screen later and you would have thought Ella was famous!  When we walked down to the concourse to meet some friends we had random strangers asking to take her picture.  Of course Ella kept her arms around her face as though saying "please, no pictures...just too much paparazzi for me" :)
